PEANUT CAN WREATH WITH FLOWERS

1. Follow the instuctions for the Trivet on August first. The following instructions are to create flowers to turn the Trivet into a Wreath.
2. Using the can opener, cut the bottoms out of 6 peanut cans. Trim the edge creating six metal circles.
3. Divide each circle into 12 sections. Draw a 12 inch circle in the center of the metal circle. Cut the sections to the center circle. Round the edge of each section to shape the flower petals.
4. Fold up every second petal rolling each petal outward to shape the flower. Fold up three more adjacent petals, skip a petal and fold up another petal leaving two petals flat. These are the leaves. Make six flowers.
5. Wire each flower to a join while using the flat leaves to cover the wire. Twist the ends of the wire around the needlenose plier to create the stigma.
