Tools
2 Peanut can bottoms
Can opener
Scissors
Ice pick
Nut and bolt or paper fastener

1. Using the can opener, cut the bottom of two peanut cans. Trim the circles.

2. Using the ice pick, poke a hole in the center of each metal circle.

3. Divide one circle into six even sections. Divide the second circle into twelve even sections. Cut each section approximately 1/4 from the center hole.

4. From the outside edge of the 12 section circle, cut the edge into a taper point (or rounded edge) to shape the petals of the flower.Bend up every forth petal and roll back the tip. Bend up the center petal of the three petal section and then the six remaining petals rolling back the petals as you bend.

5. Bend down every other section of the six sectioned circle. Round the edge of the three other section. Slightlyl bend up the remain three sections. Roll back the edges of the sections to shape the leaves. This is the stand for the metal flower.

6. Place the flower on the stand and bolt together.
