PAPER APPLE
Tools
1 Vertical window blind slat 3 1/2" wide 34" long
Bailing Wire or coat hanger 34" long
Masking tape
Paper shredder
Blender
Newspaper
Large deep cookie sheet
Large bowl

Window screen fitting the cookie sheet

Cut the blind slat 34" long. Cut the bailing wire 34" long. Tape the bailing wire in the center of the blind slat. Tape the ends othe slate together. Shape the blind into an apple with a valley where the slat ends meet and a smoothe dip on the opposite.
Shred the newspaper in the paper shredder. Place a handful of shredder newspaper in the blender. Fill the blender with water. Blend the newspaper until it look complete disolved in the water.
Pour the paper pulp through the strainer into the bowl. Press the pulp to strain out most of the paper.
Place the apple shaped blink slat on the screen on the cookie sheet. Squeeze the pulp and place it inside the apple shape. Blend and strain several portion of pulp to fill the large apple mold.
Leave the apple mold on the screen and sit it in the sun for a day. Turn it over after several hours. Remove from the mold went it break away from the sides. Stick the 4" thin twig in the apple as the stalk. The pulp will turn slightly brown and then light gray when dry.
Paint the apple.
