1. If there is a delay in receiving your email confirmation notice, it may be due to your email notification preference being set to receive HTML format. Check with your ISP for steps on changing your email format from HTML to plain text.
2. Many customer shop online while taking their lunch break at work not realizing the company computer may have filters which block certain email transactions. You may have to wait until you get home to email me and get instructions to download your purchase because you did not receive my email at work.
3. Everyone has spam blockers and virus protection on their computer these days. My ebooks are large portable document files (.pdf). Sometimes these programs on the customer's computer will not allowed the ebook attachment to be delivered using a instant deliver script because the program confuses it with spam. The email may have gone to your Junk Mail folder instead of your inbox. Sometimes, the ebook may appear as ASCHII text or not at all. 4. An example of a setting on a customer computer to block email attachment is when using Netscape Mail. You may have to go to your Toolbar, select View and Uncheck "Display Attachments Inline". 5. If you have problems opening the ebook attachment and you are using Outlook Express, the email program may have blocked you from opening the attachment. Click on Tool, Options, Security and UNCLICK "Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus." You can reset this after you open the ebook. I never use Outlook Express as it needs heavy virus protection to secure your computer from viruses. It is best to login into your email on the provider's website and check your mail on their server.
6. Your email box must be capable of receiving large files over 2MB. Some email boxes will hold up to 250 MB, but may not be able to receive more than 2MB in one email. Make sure your email box is empty, which just means all the mail in your inbox should be marked as read. If your email box was full, the email will not be received. The email containing the ebook attachment may bouce back and not deliver. If you are paying for a full service Internet Provider and using an email address through that service, you should be fine. Some free email providers such as Hotmail may not accept the ebook attachment unless you pay a few dollars for extended service. 7. The email you received containing the ebook will also have a link to download the ebook from the website if the attachment is corrupted. Some customer have a setting on their computer that blocks links in emails or html text. If you do not receive the instructions or part of the message is blocked, email me and I will resend the instructions to download the ebook from the website
8. If you have set up your PayPal account with an old email address or an email address that may have cause problems receiving an ebook, you may email me with a alternative email address to aquire the information to download the ebook from the website.
9. Open the ebook using Adobe Reader 5.0 or higher. An earlier version of the Adobe Reader may not show the pictures or part of the text.
10. Email is much faster than snail mail, but the speed of your purchase depends on the speed of your internet provider and the security settings related to your email.
